Bring a dish from your mission, where you served in the military or an ethnic dish to share.
Mike & I had talked about showing/writing the name of the food on card and the country origin against each dish , but Mike & I didn't do it. I wanted to take pictures of the dishes but I didn't do it either. I didn't even take a picture of my Malaysian curry chicken dish or Mike's Scottish marmalade cake. I wonder if anyone care. I think people are more interested to eat! So why waste our time writing and displaying food names!
Perform a talent as a family or as an individual.
This is fun! I believe each of us are blessed with talents. And I also know that we won't know until we have tried.

Singing - Brother Eric sang a song that is passed from generation to generation in his family. Isn't that special?
Tape dancing - It was not the kind of floor for tape dancing. Someone placed a piece of paper but the paper kept moving backwards. But anyway, Zachary did a good job!
Yours truly did her thing - dancing again! For a change, no fan this time. I haven't practised this dance for the past 5 years and I thought it would be an appropriate dance since it is about ethnic dish tonight. I did a Malay dance and it is called "New Malay Love Song" (direct translation from the Mandarin title of this dance).
Last but not the least, Mike blowed his bagpipes. He played 3 tunes: Scottish "Bruce's Address, Irish "Minstrel Boy" and American "America the Beautiful".
The sound was too much for our young Joseph & Zachary - ears.
It was a successful evening. We enjoyed the food. We enjoyed the talents, whatever it was. Most of all we enjoyed the fellowshipping. We appreciate the spirit of participating and contributing.
